Jake Memorial College student’s death

The Jake Memorial Baptist College has lost one of its students. Student Simeon Harmon, one of our smartest and potential preachers, died last week after months of sickness. According to family sources, Brother Simeon fell off in the pulpit on Good Friday while he was about to give the Last Seven Words of the Cross. We just interviewed more than 25 baptismal candidates to be baptized next Sunday. The Discipleship class graduated 23 students who completed basic Bible doctrines. Regarding our Bible School ministry, Pastor Barnes and I just return from teaching at the Bong Mine Theological Institute. In fact, ten students will be graduating on July 18 from the institute. The president of the Republic of Liberia, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf worshiped with the Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, June 20TH 2010, during its second Fathers’ Day service.
