As Chris and Deb Hindal remain in West Africa following the All-Africa IPFBM Conference, visiting Grace Baptist Church in Ho, Ghana, was part of their itinerary. ABWE missionary Bob Dyer established Grace Baptist in the 90’s. Like many churches, several pastors have led the congregation through the years, and attendance has grown and waned. Chris Hindal spoke on Sunday morning, Oct. 9, challenging the congregation on their personal responsibility in evangelism.

“It was interesting to learn that the Ghanaians, most of whom speak English, enjoy Southern Gospel music,” Chris says. Further intriguing the Hindals, when Deb wandered back into a Sunday School classroom, she discovered shelves of Regular Baptist Press material sent to them by Gospel Literature Services. GLS provides Biblical resources—or the funds to produce that literature on the fields—to partnering associations and their affiliated churches worldwide. Seeing those resources at Grace Baptist was an encouraging reminder that GLS enables developing Baptist ministries to fulfill the Great Commission.
