Building Materials for Haiti: Hope for Haiti
Church teams are lining up to help rebuild the 17 independent Baptist church buildings in our partnership association in Port-au-Prince. Money is needed to buy the concrete, the roof trusses, and sheet metal roofs. Designate “Emergency Relief” if donating online; or send a check, payable to Gospel Literature Services, with “Emergency Relief” on the memo line.
- Watch “Hope for Haiti“
The International Partnership connects associations of independent Baptist church associations around the world. It is important that Director Chris Hindal be able to accept the invitations of the partnering associations to speak at their conferences, conduct pastoral training, facilitate strategic planning, and serve as a liaison/representative of the GARBC. Travel funds enable the director to make these onsite, face-to-face connections. Help facilitate these connections for Great Commission work. Designate “Travel Fund” if donating online; or send a check, payable to International Partnership, with “Travel Fund” on the memo line.
In developing countries, no backup resources such as insurance are available in the event of medical or household tragedies. We are all partners in the global harvest, and it is an appropriate response of compassion to assist pastors and association leaders in times of emergency. Designate “Compassion Assistance” if donating online; or send a check, payable to International Ministries, with “Compassion Assistance” on the memo line.
Building Project for India
The New Life Regular Baptist Society Association is a small association of churches in Andhra Pradesh, India, that has a heart for church planting in the outlying village. Pastor John Victor Sakile regularly conducts services with small groups of people during this formative time of their church plant. In a nearby village the association has purchased property but has no funds to erect a church building. Can you help? Designate “India Building Project” if donating online; or send a check, payable to International Ministries, with “India Building Project” on the memo line.
Please specify in the comments section which project(s) you would like your gift to go to.
Thank you from the GARBC International Ministries staff
