When Chris Hindal travels the globe as director of GARBC International Ministries, he fellowships with believers from a variety of ethnicities. So when he recently visited Whitehall Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa., he felt right at home. The church reflects its community’s ethnic diversity, illustrating the “all nations” of the Body of Christ right here in the States. After presenting the international ministries, Hindal was “hugged by Filipinos, Romanians, Haitians, Kenyans, and Koreans.” After the service Chris fellowshipped with the congregation and enjoyed their potluck dinner, which featured cuisine from many countries.
Pastor Marco Caristo and his wife, Donna, were members of Whitehall Baptist before Marco was ordained and called to pastor the church. A tent maker who works as a mechanic, Pastor Marco loves people and desires to reach many with the gospel. He is committed to reaching the church’s neighborhood for Christ.
