International Partnership Projects
Building Materials for Haiti
Church teams are lining up to help rebuild the 17 independent Baptist church buildings in our partnership association in Port-au-Prince. Money is needed to buy the concrete, the roof trusses and sheet metal roofs. Donate by credit card on the home page by clicking on the tab, “Give Now.” Designate for “Emergency Relief.” Give by check, made payable to Gospel Literature with “Emergency Relief” on the memo line. Mail to: GLS , 1300 N. Meacham Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173.
Director’s Destinies
The International Partnership connects associations of independent Baptist church associations. As the IPFBM director for the GARBC, it is important that Chris Hindal be able to accept the invitations of the partnering associations to speak at their conferences, conduct pastoral training, facilitate strategic planning and serve as a liaison/representative of the GARBC. Travel funds enable the director to make these on-site, face-to-face connections. The travel budget for 2010-2011 is $20,000 due to regional conferences in NE India (Feb. 2011), Philippines (May 2011) and Ghana, West Africa (Oct. 2011). Help facilitate these connections for Great Commission work. Donate online or by a check, payable to International Partnership, designated to “Travel Fund”, 1300 N. Meacham Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173.
Compassion Assistance
In the developing countries of the world, no back up resources such as insurance are available in the event of medical or household tragedies. As partners in the global harvest, it is an appropriate response of compassion to assist pastors and association leaders in times of emergency. Donate online or send a check to International Ministries, designated for “Compassionate Care,” 1300 N. Meacham Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173.
