David Hixson, pastor for 20 years at Calvary Baptist Church, Sandusky, Ohio, invited Chris Hindal to participate in the church’s missions emphasis month. Chris spoke on Sunday, Oct. 23 , in both morning services and a combined youth and adult Sunday School class. After the services, Chris had good conversations with church members. Several expressed surprise in learning of God’s work in unlikely places.
Calvary Baptist, which celebrated its 80th anniversary this past spring, is expanding its facility with a major addition of classrooms and administrative offices. Associate Pastor Robb Fowler and his wife, Amy, hosted Chris and the rest of the church staff for Sunday dinner.
