Ensley Baptist Church, Sand Lake, Mich.

Sunday morning, Aug. 22, Chris Hindal gave a Gospel Literature Services presentation to the combined adult class of Ensley Baptist Church in Sand Lake, Mich. The church has been emphasizing missions this summer and included Chris in this program. Chris also provided a missionary moment, emphasizing the International Partnership in the morning service and then giving a missionary challenge to the children. A pleasant surprise of the morning was to see John and Betty Teusink, ABWE missionaries in Togo, who were part of Slater Baptist Church in Slater, Iowa, where Chris pastored in the late ’80s and early ’90s. The AWANA director requested two GLS for Kids banks, and another family did also.
