First Baptist Church, Shelbyville, Ill.

Pastor Daniel Eloe has faithfully served the Lord at First Baptist Church in Shelbyville, Ill., for nearly 20 years. Pastor Eloe invited Chris Hindal to present the GARBC International Ministries on Sunday, Jan. 8, for both Sunday School and the morning worship service. The congregation responded warmly through good interaction at the close of the services.

Around the dinner table that day, Pastor Eloe told Chris that at least 20 unsaved people were in the morning service. Reflecting on that statement later, Chris said, “It is refreshing to preach the gospel in a service where there are a number of unsaved people and realize that the Holy Spirit can use the message to open the blind eyes and cause people to see.”
