Seventy pastors and church leaders met with Chris Hindal at the Baptist Mid-Mission compound in Wa, Ghana. Wa is located in the Upper West Region of the country. Chris explained the history of the GARBC and the International Partnership initiative. After presenting the biblical premises for such a partnership, he provided illustrations of how such a partnership works. The Ghanaian pastors requested that Gospel Literature Services send a trial shipment of Sunday School materials into the country. They want to see how much the customs will cost to get the shipment out of the port. The cost will determine whether future shipments will be possible. The pastors also requested financial help for their pastors’ fund to support church planting especially in northern Ghana. Training for pastors is available through the Baptist Bible Institute on the compound for English speakers as well as the Waalii Bible School for those speaking the local language.
