Grandview Park Baptist Church, Des Moines, IA, celebrated their 75th anniversary as a church on the weekend of September 20-23, 2007, in conjunction with their missions conference. The speakers were involved in a ladies meeting, high school chapel, men’s breakfast, small group gatherings, church-wide picnic, Sunday School, worship service and the 75th celebration fellowship. Chris Hindal, who grew up at Grandview Park Baptist Church and came to know Christ through its ministry, presented the GARBC international ministry during the Sunday School hour and preached the Sunday morning message. He also shared memories of his childhood and teen experiences at the church and reflected on individual church members who impacted his life.
