Chris Hindal pastored Slater (Iowa) Baptist Church for almost 10 years starting in January 1985. With many fond memories, Chris and his wife, Deb, visited the church on Sunday, July 1. Chris presented Regular Baptist International in the Sunday School hour.
The Hindals were accompanied by their oldest daughter and her husband, Jeff and Jodi Demerly, who serve in the Muslim world of the Middle East and North Africa. During the morning service, Jeff shared about their work and Chris preached. The Hindals and the Demerlys all enjoyed chatting with friends and catching up.
Slater Baptist is excited to welcome Jeriah Shank as its new pastor. He began his ministry on July 8.
