Providence Baptist Church is dealing with the challenges of city ministry in Tallahassee, the state capital of Florida. Having purchased a city block in close proximity to the University of Florida housing area, the church has spent over $225,000 on site work prior to breaking ground for a new building.
On a recent Sunday, Chris Hindal presented Gospel Literature Services in the Sunday School hour and the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries during the morning worship service. The small congregation enthusiastically received the challenges of the Word of God and the International Ministries and responded with a generous love offering. Pastor Walter McDonald and Assistant Pastor Anthony Casson are asking God to make their church a bright 
light in a needy university town.
