Thanksgiving in Slovakia
Jeff and Jodi Demerly and their 4 children, ABWE missionaries, serve as part of Team Slovakia in the city of Lucenec. Jodi is Chris and Deb Hindal’s oldest daughter. The Hindals spent the Thanksgiving week with their children and grandchildren. They enjoyed some special family time, shopping, skiing, and touring a chateaux. Chris also had the opportunity to preach at the Lucenec church as well as both of the church plants.
Thanksgiving Day was spent at the home of Jerry & Susan Hamann along with the rest of the ABWE Team Slovakia. The next day the team met for the first time in over a year and renewed their commitment to their mission in the country. Chris took the opportunity to sit in on a portion of that meeting. Team Slovakia is striving to assist their national partners in establishing a country-wide mission’s movement.
The Hindals are grateful for the time to spend with their family and are appreciative to God that all of their children are serving the Lord.
