After spending a week in Myanmar, Hindals arrived at the airport in the city of Imphal, in NE India, on Sunday afternoon, October 5th. They were warmly greeted by Pastor HC Stephen and his wife, Chingboi. Brother Stephen serves as the international representative of the New Testament Baptist Churches Association as well as pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Churachandpur. This active ministry includes Hope Baptist Academy, an orphanage, a Bible school as well as the offices of the NTBCA. During the course of their visit, Chris spoke to the 64 orphans, met with a few of the area pastors and spoke each evening at Calvary Baptist Church. Since Sunday evening was a youth service, the great majority of the 300 present, were youth.

On Wednesday that week, we traveled 3 hours by car into the mountainous region to the town of Noney. There we were hosted by Pastor Pousiam and his dear wife. We were unexpectedly greeted by an applauding group of 630 students from their Christian school. The preparation for our arrival was obvious by the welcoming banner to the temporary, bamboo-constructed meeting shelter. Chris spoke in the afternoon to the students, plus a service in the evening which was open to the students, church members and town people. The crowd in excess of 500 heard a clear presentation of the Gospel and at least 30 responded to the invitation to trust Christ as Savior.

Continue to pray for the Hindals as they meet with ministry partners in NE India.
