image001The Association des Eglises Baptistes Bibliques du Togo held a National Parents’ Conference with 2,021 people from Baptist churches in Togo involved, including 1,687 parents, 260 kids, and 74 volunteers. The association reports:

We had the opportunity to hear four solid sermons from three inspiring preachers, 17 workshops in three different languages with 26 workshop leaders (men and women). These leaders taught nine lessons. Two of the nine were “Parents Imparting Blessings to Children” and “Vows Renewal.” Many of these lessons were new to all the participants; they generated lot of questions with much appreciation. In my workshop I could see faces with tears of guilt and shame. Eventually, hope appeared after the conclusion as they summoned valuable heritage to their children.

After everyone left the conference to go home, a terrible storm hit and completely collapsed the meeting tent. We are so thankful to God that the conference was completed and for sparing the attendees from injury and death.
