Our first Bible Quizzing started in the Maritime Region on Saturday, Aug. 20 with 10 local churches competing in the biggest auditorium of the Baptist churches in Togo. This is the first time we had such a big participation. In the Plateau region, there will be four zones with a total of 40 local churches this year. All these Bible competitions will finish on Dec. 3.
To my observation, modern technology (facebook, whatsApp, Imo, etc.) is taking all the time from our youths. The majority of them are no longer taking time to read God’s Word or have have personal 
devotions. The time spent on smartphones is far greater than looking into God’s Word. For that reason, we are doing our best by the grace of God to give them more spiritual study of the Word of God. This year all churches in Togo are studying 1 Peter, memorizing 60 Bible verses, and knowing the 66 books of the Bible.
