Josiah Abedu-Kennedy is vice president of the Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches in Accra, Ghana. He sends the following ministry update.

We are thanking the almighty God for how far He has brought us all in the midst of the devastating COVID-19 pandemic. Thanking you also for your missions-minded spirit that has enabled you to partner with us. May the Lord richly bless you all.

It’s our prayer that we may remain grateful to the light Christ has brought into our lives to continue to be His light in the dark world around us.

Our church plants are all on their feet, coping with the new normal way of life.

  • Crossroads Baptist Church plant in Dodowa, in Greater Accra, which our son Josiah is overseeing, baptized seven believers Sunday, Dec. 20.
  • Here in Apam Church plant, we baptized six believers on Sunday, Dec. 27.
  • We are planning a three-day open-air meeting at Senya Beraku, Lord willing, the third week of January to kick off the outreach ministry in the densely populated fishing community.
  • Our Faith Promise Missions Conference  Nov. 25–29 went so well. Missionary Pastor Miguel Triano of Living Word Baptist Church of Cape Coast, in the Central region, was our guest preacher.

Kindly pray for the family of Pastor Dan Wells (a missionary from First Baptist Church, Oxford, Michigan) as they share the vision of a Vocational Training Center with missions-minded individuals and churches in the USA so that we can get things going, Lord willing, in 2021. Please pray with us.
