Pastor G. Larque Vaye serves with the Calvary Baptist Church Association of Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. He sends the following update regarding construction of a church in Liberia.

Following the slow pace of the work in May and July, the work [of constructing a church in Liberia] resumed in July. We praise the Lord for His continued provisions through the generous giving by members of the church, donations from churches and friends in the USA, and members of the Calvary Baptist Church Association in America. As the result, the casting of the last floor was completed as the quarter came to a close. The walls are going up, to be followed by the roofing.

Construction work at the Suakoko School project resumed during the quarter, with the completion of the concrete slab. Suakoko Calavary Baptist High School is located on a hundred-acre land in Suakoko, Bong County.

Regular academic activities resumed at the Jake Memorial Baptist College in August for the academic year 2017–2018. There are 25 students presently in the college.
