Jesse Quapourlee is a pastor with the African Fundamental Baptist Mission, Inc., in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. He recently requested prayer for an upcoming Easter conference and now sends the following report.

Our association hosts its annual conference in November and Easter Conference in March or April of each year, with our most recent hosted by Garmu Baptist Fellowship, a newly church planted by one our evangelists. The town is ideally located under Mt. Gaai, two miles away from the Republic of Guinea. Thirty-seven churches, 30 pastors, and 20 evangelists were in attendance from seven of the 15 counties of Liberia, with a total of 300 people, including children, in attendance. Also, 98 professions of faith in Jesus Christ were made and two dedications [to ministry]. Praise be to God! I tell you there was complete joy found in the faces of all the attendees, indicating the very presence of the Spirit of God in our midst. This also cultivated the warm Christian fellowship sustained among the believers at the conference.

The conference also included the soccer team of the host church playing the guests in a friendly soccer game, which ended one goal to each team. The young people had a great campfire service throughout Saturday night at which time they sang gospel music, recited Bible verses, and had a wonderful fellowship together in the Word.
