Ebola_thumbJesse Quapourlee is pastor of New Testament Baptist Church, Liberia, West Africa, which he began in 2002. He sends the following letter regarding Ebola in Libera.

We wish to commend you for all the prayers being offered on our behalf; we are fully aware that you are continuously asking for the Lord’s protection and timely intervention to grant us relief from the deadly Ebola disease. As we all continue to pray, we are hopeful that the Lord will soon show His mercy toward us to give us great relief.

With the latest developments, we as a church have decided to raise a special offeringEbola_Inline to buy some food and medicine to be distributed among our needed community inhabitants and church family members, most especially the widows and caretakers of orphans. We are therefore welcoming a joint effort of all Christian brethren in this endeavor. We are faithfully promising a detailed report, including list of names and pictures of recipients, to be given to would-be contributors toward this great humanitarian effort, which is intended to bring glory to our awesome God during this time of turmoil in Liberia.

Once more we say thank you for praying with us in this situation.
