Chingboi inlineGod uses camping profoundly as a tool for evangelism and discipleship. Many servants of the Lord cite a decision they made at camp as life-altering. In Northeast India, Dr. H. C. Stephen, chairman for the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries, is developing a camp to reach youth and families.

Stephen reached out to the leadership of Lake Ann (Mich.) Camp for counsel in philosophy and property development. So far, the camp in India has completed a chapel building and is currently working on a boys’ dormitory. Grace Baptist Church, Batavia, N.Y., sent a construction team that put up the shell and roofed the dormitory, which they are calling Grace Hall.

Such opportunities to invest in the work of the Lord are available around the world. Perhaps your church would like to develop a relationship with a ministry in another land. Chris Hindal, director of GARBC International, can help you make that connection.
