Five ministries in India are conducting children’s weeklong programs using Vacation Bible School resources printed by Regular Baptist Press International, a recently launched publishing venture that prints Regular Baptist Press Christian education materials in India.
All five ministries are part of the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship of Manipur, for which Pastor Jangngam Singsit is secretary. They are using the VBS program “Castle Kids: Choosing to Serve Our King,” which Regular Baptist Press originally published in 2004. Regular Baptist Press International adapts the materials for use in India and prints them on-site.
Liangmai Baptist Church held VBS May 16–22, and about 17 children received Christ as their Savior. Lamphel Baptist Church in Imphal held VBS Aug. 11–15.
Three more children’s programs will take place soon: VBS and Bible camp at Wintergreen Ideal School, Oct. 10–14, during which Pastor Singsit will provide food and lodging for campers; children’s Bible camp at Bethel Baptist Church, Oct. 28–31; and VBS at Kangpokpi Mission High School, Nov. 1–5.
