Samson Sathish Divakar is executive director of Beacon Baptist Ministries, Tamilnadu, India. He writes the following letter about Beacon Baptist Theological College and Seminary in India, a ministry of this association.

We have had quite a few candidates apply to study at Beacon Baptist Theological College and Seminary to prepare for the service to which God has called them in the academic year starting July 3, 2017. Once these students complete their studies, they venture out to serve the Lord as pastors, church planters, and missionaries in India and across the borders.

Many of you are investing in missions, and the future of missions depends upon missionaries trained today. I would like to request that you prayerfully consider investing in the training of those who are called to serve our God. The cost of training one future missionary per year is $600, which covers dormitory, tuition, and cafeteria (three meals a day) expenses. Most of our students serve the Lord in Asia, which has 97 percent of the least evangelized population. I am sure you will make a difference in the lives of unevangelized people by assisting us in training a future missionary, pastor, or Bible teacher.

We have a total of 10 students who need financial assistance for their studies. If the Lord leads you to support, please sponsor a future missionary’s studies by e-mailing beacon_gap@yahoo.co.in.
