Jan. 18 was the official opening of our Rom Phrakhun Foundation in Sena Ayuthaya. The town mayor (in khaki uniform) came, and together with us cut the ribbon and unveiled the sign.
In Thailand, churches cannot own properties. So for many years the church properties were in the names of one or two Thai people. That has not been the best solution. This is one reason why we needed a foundation. Many of our churches that have properties are now in the process of transferring the ownership from the names of those people to the Rom Phrakhun Foundation.
The foundation not only has the right to own properties, but also gives protection to our different ministries such as free English teaching, prison counseling, drug rehab, medical missions, Bethany Home, and other activities.
