image001Gore Tmang is a missionary in Nepal with the New Testament Baptist Churches Association. Financial help is needed, he says, after an earthquake hit the region on April 25. He sends the following letter.

We finished the reconstruction and repairing of the church building, church compound, gate, trace pipes for support of the roof, and painting inside and outside the church, after it was damaged by the earthquake on April 25.

I went to the village and built a tin roof house for my father’s shelter. Our paddy was mixed with stone and mud or dust, and all other grains were covered by the destroyed house. It has been very hard for him to eat food and even very hard to live under a tarpulin for almost three months. Now he is so happy and thankful that he has a tin roof for a temporary shelter. My mother’s broken leg is recovering slowly.

This coming Friday, four young believers are going to take water baptism. Please pray for them and this program. Sunkhani Baptist Church will be reconstructed after the monsoon or rainy season is over. This church, as well as Hebron Church, where my parents go, needs funds, your kind prayers, and generous help to rebuild houses and churches in Nepal.image001
