New Testament Baptist Church of Monrovia was designated in 2014 to host the 2015 Bible conference of the Association of Independent Baptist Churches of Liberia Nov. 24–29.

It will interest you to know that 37 churches, 30 pastors, five evangelists, six Sunday School teachers, and four veteran Biblical counselors were in attendance from eight of the 15 counties of Liberia: Grand Gedeh, Nimba, Bong, Bassa, Margibi, Monsterrado, Lofa, and Cape Mount. A total of 500 people, including children, were in attendance. Also, I believe you will be glad to understand that 57 precious souls were saved and more than 100 people rededicated their lives to Christ at the conference. Praise be to God! I tell you there was complete joy found in the faces of all the attendees, indicating the very presence of the Spirit of God in our midst, and this also cultivated the warm Christian fellowship sustained among the believers at the conference.

We understand that you are fully aware of our church’s intention for the propagation of the gospel of grace in Liberia and Africa at large; we have purposed to plant 100 Bible-believing and practicing Baptist churches within the next 20 years, should the Lord tarry. We have already planted five churches, and the construction of buildings for two of those churches is our major priority now. Also, three church planters expressed their willingness to join and work with our church’s mission during the conference, and their interview in relations to their doctrinal beliefs and practices is ongoing now.
