Jesse Quapourlee is pastor of New Testament Baptist Church in Liberia, West Africa. The church fellowships with the African Fundamental Baptist Mission, Inc. He sends the following ministry update.

The celebration of our church’s 15th anniversary was held on Dec. 3–9. The celebration events were divided into three major sessions. Session one was conducted in open-field evangelistic meetings under the theme “Are You Ready for the Coming Judgment?” Many people responded to the gospel call and professed faith in Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior during the meetings.

The second session of the program (Dec. 6–8) was a Bible teaching section on the New Testament Baptist church, with scores of believers in attendance. A sporting event climaxed the first and second sessions on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 8, with a soccer game between the New Testament Baptist Church men and the New Testament Baptist Church Academy football team.

The third session was a celebration of our church’s anniversary under the theme “Walking with God in the Wilderness,” from Deuteronomy 2:7.  The celebration commenced with a parade two miles away from the church. The marching of believers together, singing songs of praise, drew the attention of hundreds of people along the road leading toward the church. Following the parade, we sang spiritual songs, heard an anniversary message, and listened to a reading of the church history and covenant.
