Cambodia’s 85 percent population is Buddhist. Professing Christians including Roman Catholics is 3.2 percent. Evangelical Christians is 1.61 percent. It is also the country where millions of people have not yet heard the gospel. The Lord led us to start LIFE Camp (Learning Intensive Free English) in Cambodia 15 years ago. We partner with church planting PABWE missionaries Pastor Soonthon and Nat of TABWE and Cambodian pastors.
August 29 to September 1 was our LIFE camp in Cambodia. Every August in Cambodia our LIFE camp has been used by the Lord to reach out to Buddhist contacts. Campers study English, play games, sing songs, and make friends. All of this is interspersed with gospel preaching, gospel skits, testimonies, and one-on-one witnessing. This year the Lord brought 144 adult campers and seven children. Out of 47 non-Christians, 23 made professions of faith. Please pray for follow-up by our churches.
