Monrovia inlineCalvary Baptist Church, Monrovia, Liberia, has started several churches. Pastor G. Larque Vaye sends the following highlights of these churches’ ministries.

Calvary Baptist Church, Monrovia, Liberia

During the last three months, 96 persons made professions of faith in Christ. The number includes those from the fellowships as well. No baptism service was held this quarter, but there are more than 20 persons in the class, while 15 persons are in the new members’ class. On Feb. 1 and 2,  [my wife] Roseline and I attended the ordination programs of Rev. Kerdoe Dwanyen, pastor of Tappeh Baptist Church in Tappita, Nimba County.

Zwedru Baptist Fellowship, Grand Gedeh County

The Zwedru fellowship remains functional during the quarter. Attendance received four new persons at the end of January. The first baptism class for the year will soon begin with five new converts to attend. Construction work on the new structure is 40 percent complete, with bricks being made as they await the wood for roofing. Photos will be sent when the work is completed.

New Malonkai Baptist Church, Yawaje, Todee

The Todee fellowship made significant progress during the quarter. The average attendance of the fellowship is 55 persons, while 28 received Christ as Savior and 32 are presently in the baptism class.

Kadumah Community Baptist Church, Barnesville

During this quarter, the Kadumah fellowship average attendance was 50 persons. Ten persons received Christ as Lord and Savior. The Awana ministry was also launched there during the quarter and is doing well with the kids. In its outreach program, the fellowship reached 60 people with the gospel message.
