It is always precious to share the good news of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ with the lost souls. This event took place on June 9. Missionary Joel Marie Niepes, a Filipino, has joined us for the propagation of the gospel of Christ in Liberia. And truly God’s presence and blessings go always with faithful workers of the gospel.

Absolutely there is no enjoyable job on planet earth than bringing sinners to God’s agenda. Indeed this noble task involves teamwork: the Word, human carrier of the Word, and the Holy Spirit. I saw tears rolling down the chests of some people to whom I simply read Romans 3:10–12, 3:23, 5:12, and 6:23, explaining to them from the contexts of these verses that the entire human race is sinful and guilty before a holy God, and that they needed to repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ for salvation.

New Testament Baptist Church baptized five new believers on June 10 in the Bo River, which is a mile away from the church, and then the church voted them into the membership during the regular worship service.
