Muslims inlineIn Manado, Sulut, Indonesia, the Indonesian Baptist Ministry is translating the Bible into the Banyumasan language. Twenty-four translators, divided into five groups each led by a facilitator, are involved. All of the translators come from a Muslim background, and some of them desire to know Jesus Christ as their Savior, says Ferry of Indonesian Baptist Ministry.

After six days of work, the group “went to the beach of Pangandaran to worship our Lord Jesus Christ,” Paoki says. He shared the gospel, referring to Luke 15:1–7. “Who are sinners, and why would Jesus pay attention to them?” he asked the group. Jesus loves sinners, he said, drawing their attention to verse 7: “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

During that beach gathering, five of the translators accepted Christ as their Savior and were baptized a few days later.
