Pastor Jyothi Babu shepherds the Vimukthi Baptist Church in Secunderabad, India. Through this ministry twenty village churches have been started. Each of the village pastors have been trained by Pastor Babu. These pastors are not properly supported; life is very simple and stark.
Geoff Lane, junior high Bible teacher at the Grandview Park Baptist School, in Des Moines, Iowa, challenged his students to a project that reached half way around the world. Through their fundraising efforts they supplied enough money to purchase twenty bicycles, enough for each of the village pastors. When life is really tough and the only way to get around is by walking, we cannot imagine the joy of receiving a bicycle to ease some of the burden connected to ministry. Praise God for the vision of this teacher and students!
