Chong Singsit is the U.S. representative for the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship of Manipur, India. He sends the following ministry update.
Church planting and support for pastors and evangelists in 2015 have encountered numerous obstacles both in India and Nepal due to the rise of radical Hinduism in both countries. Support money from the West is being monitored closely by the volunteers of RSS (a radical organization operated by Hindus). We are glad to be in a position to support eight different pastors and evangelists.
Three Bible conferences were conducted in Nepal this past year, reaching approximately 50–60 Christian leaders. These leaders desperately are in need of Biblical training and doctrine. One new church was planted in Manipur: Gwaltabi Baptist Church. Our outreach to neighboring Burma has been limited due to movement restrictions across the India/Burma border.
