rwanda inlineThe Evangelical Baptist Churches of Kigali, Rwanda, is planting churches in its area and reaching locals with the gospel.

Emmanuel Ndolimana, president of EBC, helped prepare a church to open in Cyondo village after Rwanda’ recent public cleaning. (On the last Saturday of every month, each person in Rwanda age 16–60 is required to clean his or her yard and village, resulting in what Chris Hindal, director of GARBC International Ministries, says is the cleanest country he has ever been in. “No debris, garbage, or papers anywhere from border to border.”)

“Thank you, friends, for your prayers and support. . . . [We] already got the first fish of the day,” Ndolimana says, referring to a man who accepted Christ one morning.

Evangelical Baptist Churches also held a successful church-planting evangelism event in Mahoko, Gisenyi, Rwanda. Ndolimana says, “Hundreds attended [and] over 100 made the decision to receive Christ. We saw God’s favor as the heavy rains moved around us, then we shared the gospel without interruptions. Praise God!”rwanda inline choir
