Suicide bomber inlineThe Pakistan Baptist Fellowship is an association of churches in growing friendship with the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries. It leader, Dr. Muqaddam Zia, sends the following letter regarding the March 15 bombings of two churches.

Yesterday two churches have been attacked by Taliban suicide bombers in Lahore city and one was our partner church. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction claimed responsibility for the attack. Two terrorists were arrested alive and they keep chanting that more are yet to come. Broken window panes, blood, and shoes were scattered across the blast sites.

Thirty-nine believers have been martyred and around 80 are severely injured. One of my uncles has been martyred in this blast.

I have been there and I am going for the funeral today again. Our team members are on the ground and in the hospital 24/7 looking after the needs of the injured. Please pray for the believers in Pakistan as well as the Lord’s work.

Please keep praying for safety.
