The Holy Baptists Independent Churches of Africa has eight churches in the bush of northern Tanzania. As a partner in the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries, this association appealed to the GARBC for a motorcycle to assist in local ministry and church planting.
Chris Hindal, director of GARBC International Ministries, and his wife, Deb, visited the village of Pastor Joseph, where the first church is planted. When they came to the end of the road, they had to walk the remaining distance.
Chris had presented the need for a motorcycle, along with other projects, to Faith Baptist Church in Mason City, Iowa, and the congregation decided to respond. Through the contribution of the Mason City church, the ministry in Africa has been enabled and enhanced. Praise God that we can partner together in fulfilling the Great Commission assignment.
