Samson Sathish Divakar, executive director of Beacon Baptist Ministries, Tamilnadu, India, explains about this need and writes about the school’s ministry.

Beacon Baptist Theological College and Seminary commenced its new academic year on July 5. We have students from six states in India, Myanmar, and Thailand. For the first time we have a student from Arunachal Pradesh state, which borders China. Many of our students have expressed their desire to go as missionaries to China, Myanmar, and Nepal.

We added two faculty to our teaching team of now six. We will have at least two visiting professors from overseas to teach modules.

We are in great need of theological books and commentaries. We have 5,500 books, as wells as a logos digital library (1,667 books) on one computer for student use. We need a total of 10,000 for accreditation from Asian Theological Association. Please pray about this need.
