Soul-winning has been awesome. As we labor for the King, He leads us to several folks. To these we present the gospel.  Not a few have trusted Him unto salvation. Last Easter Sunday at our Resurrection Service, we baptized four people. It was a great joy. One of the baptized since his salvation is deeply burdened to go to Bible school. By way of encouragement, we made him audit one of the classes in our Bible institute.

Five persons in the church graduated from junior high recently. The night of their graduation, the youth fellowship organized a party for them and their invited friends so that I could preach the Good News to their unsaved friends. It was a great moment. Interestingly, three of these long ago had expressed the desire to become pastors. Much as we know, the call of God is greater than any career; we also do not want to deny them the opportunity of furthering their education. We are praying, advising them, and consulting with their parents.

A few challenges we would like you to pray about:

  1. Bible Club Leadership Clinic (workshop) coming soon—that believers make themselves available.
  2. Funeral of Aunty Akyere: the mother in-law, mother, and grandmother of Rev. John and Mrs. Abedu-Kennedy and my beloved wife on June 3–5.
  3. The organist who teaches my wife how to play the organ has stopped coming.
  4. Urgent need to relocate the church from our present place of worship. Several times this month we could not meet because we were denied access to the school rooms where we meet to worship. This affects and hinders not only our morning and evening services but other important activities of the church.
  5. My landlord recently asked me to vacate his house by the end of June because he is coming on retirement with his family.

We are excited we are serving the Lord together with you. We serve a great King.
