ACCRA, Ghana, West Africa—With spring comes the season of hope, and the Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches in Ghana has celebrated Jesus’ victory of the cross and triumph over the grave with its annual Easter picnic. On the Monday after Easter, believers in Ghana gathered at the Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches school in Okyereko, “uniting to take Ghana for Christ,” as the picnic’s theme states. From there the group hiked to a dam and the agricultural engineering college and heard messages from Harold Holdbrooke of Harris Chapel Baptist Church in Haatso.
