Dear Praying Brethren,
LIFE Camp 2010 was a great challenge for us, seeing new disciples leading new believers to the Lord Jesus Christ. Especially for Trip, Yury, Victor and Ruth who are members of PYBC Poipet and at present Cambodian staff who joined our new mission team in Bavet. From the 168 unbelievers who joined this affair about 88 souls came to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior thru this scheme. We also praise God for using our speaker, Bryan Dugger and his singing team, Albert and Buck in ministering to us. Thank you for praying and sharing with us in this yearly venture for the Lord.
New Mission Field, Bavet City
Trip, Malou and I left Poipet on June 8 and stayed in Phnom Penh for three days before we finally proceeded to Bavet City on June 11. The donor of the lot and building temporarily housed us in one of the rooms of his Hotel while the building was being prepared for the work. After one month, we finally transferred to the place and started teaching English and having discipleship class with our Cambodian staff. We also started having Khmer Worship Service in the morning and English Worship Service in the evening on Sundays. At present we have 32 students enrolled in our English, Vietnamese, Chinese and Computer classes. Most of them are casino workers, some motorcycle drivers and children. Two students got saved during our recent LIFE Camp. PTL!
