Dear Brethren,
This report should have come a few weeks ago. Some few problems with my PC have caused the delay.
All is well with our families and ministries because we have people like you and others behind us in prayer and material support. Thanks and may the good Lord continue to bless you all.

ANSWERS TO PRAYER
1. MISSIONARY TRIP TO LIBERIA: Our Director for African Missions, one Australian man,now my Australian Son as well, a deacon from our missions oriented Calvary Baptist Church of Techiman which my American son Rev. Steve Volante is the senior Pastor and myself made the trip. It was an opportunity for us to see the work of a Liberian missionary Church planter sent from Calvary Baptist of Techiman here in Ghana whom we are also supporting in a small way, and of course a unique opportunity for me to visit my Home and sending GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH OF YEKEPA in Liberia after almost two decades of ministering in Ghana. The long silence as usual had been as a result of about fifteen years of civil war (1990-2004). Mixed feelings, you can imagine.
Owing to bad road condition and disappointment over a car to have had to go to Yekepa, I rather invited a couple of the present leaders to come to meet with us in Monrovia. It was a wonderful re-union of a few members and former pastor who was commissioned to Ghana as the Church’s first missionary in 1990. We praise God for a wonderful time of fellowship and a three day Seminar on Faith Promise Giving for Mission which Pastor Steve Volante taught. More report later.
2. FISHING CANOE ACCIDENT: The fisherman in our church whose canoe had accident in deep seas and one person died out of a crew of eight still remains faithful. The town folks tried to push him against the wall with their traditional beliefs. It was not easy on him. He did only what would not ruin his testimony and all is over now.
3. GIFTY the baby mother is now out of hospital after going through two major surgeries during birth through caesarean. Both her and baby Kwame are doing well.
4. PASTOR OWIREDU’S Burial service went well. We thank God for Churches, families, some of his relations and well wishers who helped in divers ways. The Lord provided all the funds needed. To God be the glory.
5.CHURCH PLANTS: All of our Church plants are seeing both numerical and spiritual growth.

A. APAM : We are in the process of getting a land down town for Church building.
B. MUMFORD: Two plots of land documents are now in our hands, duly signed. Prayerfully waiting for His hand of blessing to start building.
C. KASOA : The home going of Pastor Edward Owiredu and the assisting Mexican missionary who is also gone to his home country on furlough two weeks after the burial service is really stretching us the remaining team members. Nevertheless, the Lord is seeing us through.
D. CROSSROADS IN ACCRA: This almost two year old church plant in a very developed and strategic area in the capital city of Ghana is of a great challenge. We praise God for the strong backing and influence of Pastor Steve and Calvary Baptist Church of Techiman to start the work. Pastor Josiah is doing well with the help of a young man also a Bible graduate called Felix. Land for Church building around East Legon is quoted in tens of thousands USD. New Life Baptist Church of Apam serves as shepherd care over Crossroads Baptist Church which Pastor Steve Volante my American Son helped with almost all the funds to start the Church. We praise God for men God uses to keep His work going.
E. ROGMA: We thank God for this unique paper evangelist. Momentum is now very high. Lots of serious students this time, while cost of running has gone way way up. Thank God, He is seeing us through in meeting the needs.
F. BIBLE SCHOOL: We are getting close to starting the NEW LIFE BAPTIST BIBLE INSTITUTE. There is no Fundamental Bible School in the Central Region to train men for our Church plants to reach the unreached. Cost of travelling has become very very expensive for called men and women to travel to other Regions, especially when it comes to Bible training school. Men will travel anywhere for circular education but not for Theological education. First print of our Catalogue is being looked through by other pastors in the Central and Western regions who will also help to run the school.

6. BUILDING FOR BIBLE SCHOOL AND GUEST HOUSE: Praise God we are about 90% complete. We were estimating about $15,000.00 remaining at least to complete. Prices of building material and other things have escalated that I do not think the $15,000.00 will complete it. Thank God for how far He has brought us and still looking up to Him for His supply through His channel of blessings.

PRAYER REQUESTS
1. Our nation Ghana also elects new President and government this year. Tension is high. May God see us through. Pray with us for continued PEACE, STABILITY AND TRANQUILITY.
2. OUR SECOND HOME COUNTRY LIBERIA is in the process of rebuilding after fifteen years of civil war. Many religions have sprang up, getting people confused. Pray for believers in Christ for firm standing and also for PEACE, STABILITY and TRANQUILITY for the nation.
3. Pray for our family’s health and spiritual care. To walk closer with our Saviour for wisdom to do His ministry. Our children and grandchildren as well for closer walk with Him.
4. Pray also for our Partners in ministry for God’s blessings and supply as they back us up on the field.
5. Members of our Church plants to learn to give God’s way for God’s promised blessings, no matter how poor we see ourselves. Little is much when God is in it.
6. Pray for our established EDUCATION FUND. Schools academic year over here starts in September. You can imagine how hot parents and guardians of school going kids are becoming. Unbelieveable letters of genuine appeal for help and special visits are made to our homes, offices and churches. Some can be very embarrasing. God help.
7. KASOA MINISTRY: We are prayerfully looking for a two bedroom apartment to consider renting for a preacher man to replace the Late Pastor Owiredu. If found, we will need funds about $1,500.00 USD to pay for one or two years advance and help to support him and his family. God is able.
8.We are expecting more grandchildren. What a blessing. Pastor Josiah and Mary are expecting a third baby by September ending. My American Son Pastor Steve and Mitchell are also expecting one more around the same time. Be in prayer with them and protection of the babies.
9. We have a couple in the US, Dan and Anita who are prayerfully considering coming to work with us here in the Central Region. They are from First Baptist Church of Oxford MI. Pray with them for their preparations and God’s supply.
10. Pray for two of our supporting Churches in Up-States NY., Alfred Almond Bible Church Missions Emphasis month in Ocotober and 25th ANNIVERSARY of Grace Baptist Church of Dansville on September 27th and 28th. They are about one hour apart and have both invited us their supported missionaries to attend if lthe Lord provides. Indeed, if the Lord should provide for us, we will really love to attend to them and as well use the opportunity for our furlough to visit with several of you our supporting churches, friends and families. It may take both me and my wife about $4,000.00 USD in and out including our travelling insurance and other taxes. Pray with us that the Lord’s will may be done.

If you can be of help to us with any of the needs mentioned, you may as well contact our mission office: marking it according to the need.
