Greetings from Trujillo, Peru!
I wish you a Merry Christmas, praising God for the Incarnation, birth, life and ministry, death, and resurrection of our Savior. I remind you this wonderful Bible verse: “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Hebrews 2:14).
I appreciate your prayers on behalf of our ministry here in Peru. God is blessing our efforts to obey His Great Commission. More churches are being involved in missions. Bethel Baptist, the church I am pastoring, is sending a new missionary to the rain forest this coming January: Roman Ushiñahua and his family. Praise the Lord, several churches are participating in this project. My co-servants and I are being used to preach and teach in several areas in Peru, and Lord willing I will go to Dominican Republic this coming July.
We sent a letter one month ago requesting prayers because we were $5,000 short to meet our budget, but now we are only $3,000 short. We do praise the Lord for His faithfulness toward this ministry called Baptist Seminary of Peru! We also thank you for your prayer support. Please keep praying for us, and let me know if you and your family can participate of this challenge we face.
