I am happy to give you my April ministry report. The Lord enabled me to travel far and wide and preach and teach the Gospel to many people within April.
I. Conferences and Gospel Campaigns:
(1) Deeper Christian Life Conference – April 4-8, 2007
This conference was held at Tahan where Christian community is located. There were between 1100 – 1600 people every day and every night. Many people realized that they were carnal and their ministry is flesh dependent ministry, and they confessed their sin to God and they enjoyed to know the importance of Spirit-filled life and they completely surrender themselves to God.
This is a wonderful conference; we plan to have Holiness Conference every year at that town. At that Conference 31 people got saved, Haleluijah.
(2) Rogma Free International Correspondence Graduation Service:
On April 9, the Graduation service was held and there were 27 graduate students. This School is a solid Biblical sound School and there are 36 Great Bible Doctrines. We have more than 1700 students in Falam Chin dialect , Mizo, Burmese and in English in our ministries.
We held the graduation service at Aungtitsa Revival Baptist Church and there was a great Banquet also.
(3) Biblical School of Theology Gospel Tour in Hakha City :
(April 11 – 15, 2007)
By God’s grace we do this Gospel tour every year. This year we planed and prayed to go to Hakha town which is the capital city of Chin State and where Revival broke-out two years a go. Five instructors and 67 Bible students went to that city, and we were divided into three groups: One group was led by Daniel Thang ( Academic Dean) and they were with Grace Baptist Church; the other group was led by one of our instructors and they were with Revival Baptist Church; and I led one group and we were with Calvary Baptist Church.
Students visited house to house and shared the gospel individually for three days. They reached 1224 people with the gospel and 198 people got saved through students’ personal witnessing. We the instructors conducted Bible Teaching at their churches and we preached every evening. Believers were encouraged and there was a great church growth. The other interesting result is, an other Revival Baptist Church is existed at out skirt of Hakha City as a result of this Gospel Tour activity.
The below four students are strong in soul winning and they are now in the mission fields.
In order to have this Gospel Tour, we did need a big money, as we prayed the Lord provided the funds and we are sure that there will be a great reward there in Heaven. We thank God for this great work.
After this Gospel Tour, Our Bible students have gone to different villages to preach the gospel. When they come back to the Bible School in July, they will share their outreach experiences.
(4) Gospel Campaign at Rizua Town:
(April 16 – 22, 2007)
Rizua town is known as a drug addicted town and so the Chin Evangelical Fellowship planned and prayed for Gospel Campaign. The CEF invited me to go there as their main speaker and Bible teacher. I brought my wife Lily, another three Bible teachers with me.
By God’s grace, the gospel campaign was successful. As a result, 132 adult people got saved, and children’ gospel campaign was done by my wife and another Bible women and 125 children got saved. Haleluijah. This town is at India border town and it is 106 miles a way from Hakha town.

Rizua is a new town and which is the in the Zotung area. They are chin, but influenced by Liberal Baptist. There were some gospel preachers who did not agree with the liberal preachers and so they formed the Zo Christian Church 18 years ago. They are now spread out at 22 villages, and the leaders came to meet me and they wanted to join our Revival Baptist Churches Fellowship and we did agreement also. We make some decisions:
(a) As they do need Bible School, we the Biblical School of Theology will start Biblical School of Ministry at Rizua town in 2008. All of the preachers are uneducated and they need Bible training. This training will last one month a year. In order to start, they need a building. They have a piece of land and $ 4500.00 will be able to build a building for Biblical School of Ministry. Please pray with us for that needed money.
(b) In the month of May 2008, we the Biblical School of theology will conduct a seminar for women and Sunday school teachers.
(c) In the month of April 2008, we will send five children workers to conduct crusade for children. The church leaders promised me that they will collect 2000 children from villages.
Untrained preachers who need Bible Training
While in the preaching trip, my gout problem is a problem. But I did not give up the preaching ministry and when I got back home on April 30, I was exhausted and I did rest for 26 hours. I am now O.K and I will begin my NT Grammar checking again, this will be the final. There is a strong invitation from China- Loas..Myanmar Border and so I plan to go there again on May 17. I will give you a report again at the end of May.
What I see the need is: We do need a strong Jeep which can go the country for outreach.
$ 15000.00 can buy a brand new good one. Please pray with me for a Jeep for outreach.
