As we know, we have only one life which should be invested in God’s business alone. I thank God that He allows me to get involved in His ministry. I would like to write some of our activities which was done in the month of May. Because of your prayer support and financial support as well, we could have a wonderful ministries here in Myanmar.

I. CHURCH PLANTING MOVEMENT/ MISSIONARY MOVEMENT:

I was able to travel here and there to see our missionaries and conduct a short seminar fro them. I was really blessed and challenged by seeing their commitment and ministries.

(1) Falam Revival Baptist Church Building Dedication:

Myanmar Christianity is influenced by Liberalism and Myanmar Baptist Convention is the main leader of Liberalism. That’s why, we a handful of Bible believing brethren came of out liberal groups and started a Bible Believing church back on 31May 1986 and we named the church Revival Baptist Church. From that small church, we started a solid Bible teaching and preaching, and emphasizing witnessing, and the Lord has blessed the ministry and now we have planted more than 90 churches throughout the country. And the first church called Revival Baptist Church had a very small and bad church building, after praying much, the Lord provided the need and we are able to build a nice building and we had building dedication service on may 6, 2010. We invited pastors and other ministers and we had three days training.  What a wonderful and blessed service. That church building is in the middle of Falam town, on the dedication day, 457 people attended the service.

There were 62 gospel workers in the three days of seminar, and I was teaching church planting, soul winning and how to build an evangelistic church.

(2) Delta Area Mission Trip:

* Chaungtha Beach:

Bro. Paul and Bro. Maunga and I visited our missionaries who are working in Delta areas. We went to Chaungta Beach where two missionaries are working. Two houses churches have been planted and this place is a good place for Discipleship Training. The reason is: They have a little freedom since this is tourist area; Moreover, the climate is good, and a good place for practical witnessing. We have purchased a small building for Discipleship Training Center, but it needs to be modified and completed. We do need about $1800.00 more to finish that building.

Swetawngyan town: We went to Swetawngyan town where Mr & Mrs Win Naing Soe are committed. This is a new mission field, there are about 2000 people, but no Christian at all. We rented a house for them and they arrived there on 29 April, 2010. Now they have 12 children (Sunday school class) and 8 adults who come to join for Sunday morning service. There is a great hope for church planting and persecution as well. This young man needs a boat for self supporting work. $ 500.00 can buy a boat and he will be able to make some income for themselves and they will be able to support by that work. See the photos and you will see the house we rented and the boat for which we pray.

  • · Thapaung Town: From that place, we went to Thapaung town where

missionary Ping Tung works. He has 8 faithful converts. His wife and he live at a small cottage where they worship.  Missionary Pingtong did send the only one young man to our Bible College.

  • · Yisan Village: From that town, we went to Yisan village to see missionary Kyaw Tan Aye. There are about 35 believers at that church. They have a village church building which needs to be repaired and modified. They

collected 800 bricks for that. They do need about $1300.00 for that project.

  • · Ngwesawng Beach: Then we went to Ngwesawng Beach to see missionary Aung Zaw Thwe. Aung zaw Thwe and his wife are fine, working hard for the Lord. They have a village church building. We plan to have Bible Conference at that village for the whole Delta area churches in 2011.

I am really excited to hear and see our missionaries’ activities. I will try to write other missionaries’ ministries next month.

II. MINISTRY OUTREACH/ SOUL WINNING:

  • · Bible College Outreach Ministry:

During our summer vacation, our Bible students and staff went out to reach unsaved people in different States and places. Our according to their reports, we could reach 3500 people with the gospel and 239 people got saved.  Haleluijah!

  • · Mandalay City Prison Ministry:

This is a very precious ministry. Christians are not allowed to have such kind of prison ministry in Myanmar. By God’s providence, Mandalay Prison

Supervisor is a Christian and he allows us to do the ministry very wisely. Missionary David Ma Mang and his wife go to three prisons on every Sunday. Some accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. They do need sandals and caps as they are forced to work daily under the sun and rain. $ 5.00 can buy a sandal or a cap.

Yours in His vineyard,

Timothy Sui Lian Mang, Servant of the Lord
