God has been good and faithful to us. In spite of various difficulties, the Lord enabled us to have such a wonderful ministries here in Myanmar. This is only because of your financial support and prayer support. May I share with you some highlights which happened in January 2011.
I. CHURCH PLANTING MOVEMENT:
I am excited to mention my visitation to some of our church planters.

(1) Latakyi Village Church: This church is a result of Nargis Cyclone. At this village, there are 223 families, and all of them were Buddhists. When the Nargis Cyclone hit that area, houses were gone, people have no food to eat and we went there and provided them some foods to eat, and we did witnessing. We built a village church building and we put a believer family at that house from other village. Every summer  we send our Bible College students for witnessing.  The first week of January, we visited there on Sunday and there were 22 believers at  that house church. My heart was broken because of joy. This is a real church now. I preached for them and after morning worship service,  we had lunch with some of the church members. God is building His church.

(2) Sihkung Village Church: After Latakyi Village Church Sunday morning worship service, we went to this village by boat. During the  Nargis Cyclone, houses were destroyed very badly, and we helped them rebuild their houses also. As a result of that, the people were open  the gospel and few people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior and Lord. By God’s grace, we built a church building at that  village. And there are now 16 strong believers. One of our Bible College graduate students by the name of Mr. Tun Tun is taking care of  those two churches. God is building His church even in a very remote place also.

(3) Tanhlin Church: And in the third week of January, we visited Tanhlin Church. One of our graduated students reached that town one and  half years ago, and he won 21 people to Jesus Christ. All of them are from Budhist background. The township authorities asked the   land lord to expel the missionary from their rented house two times. Then our missionary family moved to other house and another house  like that. On that Sunday morning worship service, there were 26 attendances. Hallelujah. In the midst of opposition, God is building His church through His people. This congregation badly needs a church building. If we can build a church, there will be more  people, this what missionary Sumpi said. Missionary Sumpi and Family.
(4) Pegu Church: The last week of January, we visited missionary Lai Baw who has been working in Pegu city. He is the one who faces persecution a lot. One of his neighbors had tried to kill missionary Lai Bawi many times, but God protected him. Now this man left his house, and only his wife and children are remained. They  became so friendly to Lai Bawi and his wife. I preached on the Sunday worship  service, and there were 19 strong believers. After the service, missionary Lai Bawi baptized a High School teacher. God is building His  church slowly.

Prayer Items:
. We have five young people who are going to graduate on February 26, 2011. They are committed to be missionary among unreached  people groups. We have no funds for them. $ 100.00 monthly will be able to support each one.

2. Pray for missionary Sumpi and the congregation for church building.

II. BIBLE COLLEGE MINISTRY:
January 27 – 30, we had mission’s conference at our Bible College for students. We challenged students, and almost all of them dedicated their lives for ministry with a lot of tears. Every Sunday students have Sunday school classes at 28 different places. All the children are  from non- Christians. February 26 will be our graduation and 27 will be our Annual Thanksgiving day. And the first week and the second  week of March, we will have a special training for Soldier of Jesus Christ and after that we will send them out group by group to different places for soul winning.

Prayer Items:
1. We do needs $ 1200.00 more funds for Soldier of Jesus Christ soul winning outreach.

2. We do need $ 1800.00 for Library development, for internet excess at the Library for students’ research work.

III. BIBLE TRANSLATION: The Lord really blesses our Falam NT. We have started OT translation and Consultant Miss Kim checked for us Genesis and Exodus. Senior consultant Ross and I have finished NT revision, Praise the Lord! February 7- 26, we will check Leviticus with consultant Cathy. Our Falam Chin people are thrilled to see the complete Holy Bible. I do covet your prayer support for this project. I need one more Laptop for this Bible translation project. $ 800.00 can buy a good one.

I am really grateful to you for your partnership in Myanmar ministry.

Together we can accomplish more.
Yours in His vineyard,
