Warm greetings from Peru, South America!!
On January 13-16 it was held the Youth International Missionary Conference in Lima. There were speakers from the USA, Honduras, Dominican Republic and Peru. Praise the Lord it was a great opportunity to show the worldwide scope of the Great Commission.
On January 17-20, in the Northeast Mountains in Peru, churches from all the Amazonas Region gathered for their annual conference. It was the first time for them to hear about to glorify God by obeying the Great Commission.

In the evenings, Segundo Rodriguez challenged them to obey the Christian lifestyle: making disciples of Christ. In the mornings, God used me to present a strategy to obey the Great Commission: prayers, giving, perfecting, and going. For several years they were focused in their own area, but now they are looking to other fields ready for the Harvest.

Baptist Seminary of Peru
The ministry called Baptist Seminary of Peru is going to start its new academic year on March 5th. Please pray we can have many new students and enough professors. So far we have only 5 students for the First Year.

On January 11-22 we offered four courses to pastors and leaders from several Peruvian areas. Over 30 students gathered mornings and afternoons to learn about “History of the Bible”, “Theology of Worship”, “Genesis”, and “Counseling”. Praise the Lord four professors and pastors from the USA were here sharing their hearts with students of our Masters program and other leaders.

Missionary Churches
God is so good and faithful!! January 2010 is a special month because Missionary Joel Gamboa received his first offering in order to work full time in the ministry. He had given up his job as taxi driver in order to enter full time in the ministry since the first day of the New Year, and God has manifested again His provision. According to a BIEM program Joel will receive this support for two years; after that time it is expected that the new Church will be able to support its own Pastor. There are other national missionaries working under lack of support, but if God leads you to participate in this BIEM program, please contact missions@BaptistInternational.org

Praise the Lord!! On the last year Bethel Baptist of Trujillo, Peru, has given US$13,230.00 for missions in Peru and three other areas in the world. We are not rich people, we are in a popular area of Trujillo; but we let God to work in us to obey His Great Commission. 54% of our budget is missions oriented; please pray for us as we face new missionary challenges this New Year!!

In Him,

Enoc Príncipe
