Joseph Akakpo ministers with the Association des Eglises Baptistes Bibliques du Togo, an IPFBM partner in Togo, West Africa. He sends the following letter regarding a Children’s and Teachers’ Day held at Lomnava Bible Baptist Church. He praises the Lord for the Sunday School teachers’ devotion to the Lord and creativity. He says, “I totally gave them the freedom to do their best, and they did more than I thought.”

We heard the kids preach to us through recitation of Bible verses, songs, Bible quizzing, and drama. On this day theBible verse girl 2 church was the fullest in its history. Unbelieving parents, invited guests, and friends made this day very special. We ended the morning with awards to all the kids, and the little ones received special awards.

Your prayers are so wonderful. Please continue to pray that we parents and Togo kids faces up closeteachers can be a good model for this generation; these kids can come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and grow in it. The few ones that are saved can be good disciples. One mother was able to express her appreciation to start coming to our church but is not yet saved. Pray for her. We visited her during our door-to-door soul-winning yesterday afternoon.

Next Sunday will be Married Couples’ Day in the church, while the youths will have a separate class for their special Bible study. I will need your prayers too, as I will be teaching the Sunday School and preaching. My invited guest, Pastor Gbolou Mawouli, for this day cannot make it to honor my invitation due to an acceptable and reasonable excuse.
