Help Save the Central Baptist Church

Church services and school activities at the Central Baptist Church, located on the Pipeline, has come to a halt when storm took away the roof.  The storm which hit Monrovia last Thursday took away the roof of the church and sent it in the valley below when the students were in class.

The entire student body and staff left the building without harm.  When we visited the site yesterday,   all we saw was an unroofed church building.

As it stands, the entire edifice is without roof except for the pulpit area. When noting g is done urgently to roof the building, the benches and walls will get damaged.

We are sending out an SOS Call to roof the church this week to save the structure from further damage by the rain.  The total cost is

USD $ 1, 500. Mean while services still continue under tarpaulin until the roof is replaced

In 2009, Calvary Baptist Church completed the roofing and floor of the edifice of the church.   In our effort to extend the Calvary Baptist Church School System in the Pipeline area, an elementary school was open last year. The Central Baptist Church is one of the fellowships established by the Calvary Baptist Church
