PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti—The GARBC International Ministries in partnership with ABWE praises God for the completion of a pastor’s home in Haiti. Pastor Cave was living in a rented house that was destroyed by the 2010 earthquake. He spent several months after the disaster living in a tent and some time living on the street. His completed house is the first home he has ever owned.
The construction project is part of an ongoing collaboration between the International Ministries,Construction for Worldwide Evangelism, and the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. CWE is helping to construct two church buildings this year, and ABWE is focusing on constructing houses for pastors. Pastor Cave’s house is the first of four that will be built this year.

Dave Manore of the ABWE project department served as the building superintendent. He and two others stayed in the guest house in Port-au-Prince sponsored by GARBC International Ministries. The guest house is equipped to meet the needs of missions teams traveling to Haiti; it has a kitchen, dining room, living room, and sleeping space for 20 people.
