The impact from a cyclone in Malawi is getting worse, as “a police post, agriculture, Malawi Revenue Authority, and immigration offices at Muloza are submerged in water following the bursting of Limbuli River,” says Francis Chipukunya, founder and projects leader of Going Home Africa Ministries.

Several roads and a bridge are now impassable, as floodwaters have spilled over these main thoroughfares.

A district commissioner “is leading a team that is assessing the impact of the disaster,” Francis says.
